ELLISTON started off well, capitalising ontheir balls with both shooters, Rosia andDuncan, shooting well.
In the second quarter Wirrulla stepped itup, winning the quarter by one.
Boylan defended well for Elliston and thethird quarter saw Elliston play with determination.
Their defensive pressure down the courtwas strong causing turnovers.
In the fourth quarter Wirrulla fought hardcoming back at Elliston.
The score evened up during the quarterbut Elliston took some great intercepts towin the game by two goals.
Western Districts defWest Coast Hawks 40-33
After some missed opportunities in theWestern Districts’ attacking end, they slowlycrept back into the game.
Hawks had some strong drives down thecourt and both teams had good intercepts inthe ring.
It was a slow start to the second quarterby Western Districts as unforced errorshelped the Hawks take the lead.
The rest of the quarter was goal for goaland some good defence by Sharyn Feltus andgood feeding into the ring by the Hawksmade for some good competition.
Some fantastic feeding into the ring by theWestern Districts and great shooting byCourtney Beard and Amber Tomney helpedthe Western Districts take a five-goal leadgoing into the last quarter.
The Hawks had some good drives downthe court but were not able to get back infront.
The Western Districts gained confidencethroughout the court in the last quarter totake a strong win over the West CoastHawks, who lost their mojo after a fewchanges in their line-up.
In the end the Western Districts wantedthe win more.

Central Eyre def Wudinna United 41-39
Both teams started well but due to a fewturnovers Central Eyre ended the quarter infront by four goals.
Wudinna started the quarter well, winninga few tough contests to level the score partway through the quarter and the Central Eyregoalies were shooting well.
The third quarter was very intense withboth teams working extremely hard to getthe ball.
The scores were 30-all at three-quartertime.
The fourth quarter saw another close contestwith Central Eyre winning by two goals.

West Coast Hawks defWestern Districts 33-32
The young Hawks team started the quarterreally well gaining a small lead but by theend of the quarter the Western Districts teamcame back to take the lead.
The Western Districts were shooting wellwith the West Coast Hawks goalies missing afew opportunities.
It was a very tight second quarter withgreat defence and fast, accurate play displayedby both teams.
There was some great shooting by bothsides, with beautiful feeding into the WesternDistricts goals by Pam Lee and Roxie Brands.
The third quarter saw the ball move a lotup and down the court with both teams’goalies missing a few and great defensivework by both teams.
Emma Brands and Jess Crettenden keptthe Hawks goals to a minimum.
The fourth quarter was great, hard andfast-paced netball.
It was very tight and hard fought by bothteams.
The West Coast Hawks eventually edgedover the line to take the game out.

Western Districts drew withWest Coast Hawks 33-33
The game began in good conditions withthe defences playing tight at each end, makingthe match very close early.
Both teams were playing well but WesternDistricts made changes which proved to be agreat decision.
Their defences continued to play exceptionallywell.
The West Coast Hawks had some greatpasses through the middle. The third quarter saw fantastic leadingand passing through the centre by theWestern Districts, helping them take the lead.
Both teams played a great last quarterwith the West Coast Hawks catching up.
The game was tight all quarter and resultedin a draw.
What a fantastic game to watch, well doneto both sides.

The first quarter saw the Western Districtsestablish a good lead early with goalies workingwell together.
The Western Districts continued to hold astrong lead thanks to a combination ofgoalies working extremely well together andgreat work in defence.
The West Coast Hawks made severalchanges which gave positive results and thescores were even after a strong quarter byboth teams , especially the West CoastHawks.
The fourth quarter saw fantastic pressurefrom both sides but the West Coast Hawkswere stronger in the end.

The first quarter was one of great play andclose contests.
The second quarter had Wirrulla producingsome strong drives into the goal ring.Both teams had great turnovers butElliston did not always capitalise on them.
The third quarter was a strong one withElliston playing well and having a lot ofturnovers.
The fourth saw a great finish byWirrulla with strong defence and drivedown the court.

Western Districts defWest Coast Hawks 35-26
In the first quarter both teamsstarted a bit scratchy with errors byboth sides.
However the Western Districtsgoalies started well, creating optionsto score and took a narrow lead at thefirst change.
In the second, the West CoastHawks settled well with some greatleading into the goals, finished off byaccurate shooting.
The second half saw the WesternDistricts defenders get on top withsome tight defence and great intercepts.
The Western Districts centre wascreating great drive down the courtand the goal shooter Rebekah Forrestwas shooting well.
The West Coast Hawks kept fighting to thefinal whistle but the Western Districts cameout winners in a fantastic display of netball towin by nine goals.

Elliston def Wirrulla 38-19
Both teams started strongly with Ellistonshooting with excellent accuracy.
This put them ahead by five goals at theend of the quarter.
In the second, Wirrulla changed positionsthroughout the court but still could not pegback Elliston’s lead.
Wirrulla then lost their spirit during thethird quarter and Elliston began dominatingthe court.
In the fourth quarter Elliston had a changearound and continued to play well, eventuallybringing home the win.

Wudinna United defCentral Eyre 32-20
Good passing from the centre forWudinna gave them good leads into the goals.
This gave them the lead at quarter time of10-2.
Changes to the team let Central Eyre takeadvantage during the third quarter.
Taller defence for Central Eyre and goodwork in the goals allowed more chances.
The final quarter saw steady play fromboth teams ending in a great game.
