CSG info session to be held at Dubbo

Community members are invited to a coal seam gas (CSG) information session to gather more details about CSG and the impact it has to rural towns and the environment.

To be held at theDubbo RSL Memorial Club theatre on Sunday, August 24, at 1 pm, the session will provide participants with a wide range of information.

The session will include a screening of ‘Fractured Country: An Unconventional Invasion’, a documentary on Australian CSG.

There will also be guest speakers including President of the Great Artesian Basin Protection Group and Coonamble CSG action group, Anne Kennedy.

Megan Kuhn from Lock the Gate Alliance will also be attending, along with Jane Judd from Friends of the Pilliga and Coonabarabran Residents Against Gas (CRAG).

Once thesession has concluded an open meeting will be held to discuss the formation of a Dubbo CSG action group.

All interested people are welcome to attend.

There will also be an afternoon tea provided in the RSL terrace area.
