There are more changes to traffic conditions at Gerringong due to the Princes Highway upgrade, this time at the intersection of the highway and Fern Street.TRAFFIC will be moved to the new Fern Street and Princes Highway intersection on Friday as part of the Princes Highway upgrade, allowing work to start on the rebuilding the old highway between Rose Valley Road and Fern Street.
Access to Fern Street will be through the intersection until the southbound lanes are completed as part of the $329 million highway upgrade, which is expected to be early next year.
To prepare for the traffic changes, there will be no access to or from the Princes Highway at Fern Street between 10am Thursday and 6am on Friday.
Motorists can access Gerringong at Belinda Street and traffic control and signs will be in place to direct motorists.
Further traffic changes will be required in the coming months to progress the highway upgrade.
